A novel on the awareness, the will to fight and to keep up, to continue despite the difficulties of life. Gian Giacomo, a child as many other, is considered to be weird in his village. He is not an hero, not a predestinated, not a winner. He is only shy, thoughtful, introverted and this is enough to see him as weird. When he was little, he went through an hard time, due to the divorce of his parents. Later as a teenager he lost his beloved father, then after few years, also his mother. He is alone, in the darkest and deepest abysses of loneliness, he felt the presence of a strong, straight and rational force, which can bring him back to the surface. Anyway the path to reach it isn’t an easy one, surrounded by ruins and heavy memories to rielaborate. An hard path, where the final destination is the most fulfilling of happiness. Because despite everything, life is beautiful. Life is worth living despite all the pain.
